The History of The Audio-Visual Ministry
The Audio-Visual Ministry was launched by our former member, Dea. Juan Ethridge. He came up with an idea to create a group that would lead people to God through technology. In 2003, he started to record our services visually on our public channels, 24 and 26, and audio, with our radio station. Unfortunately, he moved with his family to Houston, TX. The Audio-Visual Ministry was then taken over in late 2004, with current moderators Dea. Norman Craig and Bro. Roger Jones. In the year of 2005, we were blessed with new members in our ministry, which helped with both video and audio at the time. In 2006, we had a great year, having more technological advances. In 2007, we had a phenomenal year, having more people to join and assist us in our ministry (adding an additional seven members). God was surely blessing our ministry! In 2008, the moderators were forming a plan and praying that our biggest goal for 2009 was to have new technology and a website that would draw more people to Christ. And our prayers were answered! We are producing a better video quality for the benefit of the people to see, more members, a website, and most of all, we have The Lord Jesus Christ on our side to bring us through to 2010. As 2010 closed, we were able by the grace of God, to buy a state of the art audio mixing board, along with a side camera to enhance our worship broadcast. We were so blessed in 2011 to start our project of live streaming our services to you at home, if you were not able to make it presently. We were also blessed to have another camera on another side, to broadcast our services from both the front and back view of the sanctuary. We are now going forward with God, with our plans to make possible live-streaming to you and your family, so that our mission that we carry will be fulfilled.
